Menus On A String
I love handwriting the menus for all the special suppers that I host at home. Then the following day I add them to the string of menus that hang in the wall of my kitchen.This can be done really simply by using nice postcards or A5 blank white cards. I always write them in pencil (easy to rub out mistakes) and I draw little illustrations of vegetables or festive images along the side. I love to stop in front of the string of menus during the day and read back through the menus, or beautiful memories as that's what they are.
