Happy Hot Dogs with Oh Yeah Yum Slaw
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
8 good quality spicy sausages
8 brioche hot dog buns
For the oh yeah yum slaw
100ml Mayonnaise
50ml crème fraiche
2tbsps, flat parsley, finely chopped
½ green cabbage, peeled and cut into strips
2 sticks of celery, thinly sliced
2 carrots, peeled and grated
juice of one lemon
sea salt and freshly ground black peppe
METHOD:
1. Place a frying pan over a medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the sausages in the pan for 10 minutes (or until cooked), turning every few minutes.
2. While the sausages are cookingmake the summer slaw. Toss all the ingredients together in a large serving bowl, and season with sea salt and freshly ground black.
3. Warm the hot dogs in a low heat oven. Pop the cooked spicy sausages in the buns, followed by a generous spoon of the Oh Yeah Yum Sla
