Sticky Piggies

Makes 36

INGREDIENTS:

18 smoked streaky bacon rashers 

36 cocktail sausages 

36 sage leaves 

2 tbsp honey

METHOD:

1. Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C.

2. Stretch the rashers using the back of a knife. Cut in half length-ways.

3. In a bowl, toss the sausages with the honey until coated. Wrap each sausage with a sage leaf then wrap with a stretched piece of rasher, winding it round until neatly wrapped. 

4. Arrange the bacon-wrapped sausages on a baking sheet. Roast for 30-35 minutes, until golden in colour.
