6 Reasons why lemons are so good for you

I’m obsessed with lemons.  I like how they taste in food, how they look growing from a tree and how they look when you decorate a table with them.  But they have so many more benefits.  It’s important for me to keep thinking of how I can integrate them into my diet.

  1. Lemons are stuffed full of Vitamin C - I try and put them in my daily intake of water to top up my intake.

  2. It freshens breath - have you ever rubbed your hands with one to get rid of the smell or garlic?  Well the same principle is true for your breath.

  3. It aids digestion - drinking warm water with lemon will wake up your digestive systems and get you going for the day!

  4. Many studies say it improves your skin quality - Vitamin C keeps the wrinkles away.  What is not to like about that!

  5. It helps you keep hydrated.  The biggest kindness you can do yourself.

  6. Lemon also cleanses and rejuvenates the liver. When our liver isn’t working 100% our energy is lower.
